Precious buys bulk carrier for USD 16.7m

(SeeNews) - Feb 22, 2012 - Thai marine transportation company Precious Shipping PCL (BAK:PSL) today said that through a subsidiary it had agreed to buy a second-hand bulk carrier from an Indian company for USD 16.7 million (EUR 12.6m).

(SeeNews) - Feb 22, 2012 - US biofuel technology developer Cool Planet BioFuels today said it had achieved a yield of 4,000 gallons of cellulosic gasoline (15,140 litres) per acre of giant miscanthus plantations in pilot tests, using a new technology.
